Veronica understands that many individuals feel pressure to “have it all together” while quietly managing anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, she works with teens, young adults, and adults (12–late 30s) who are seeking greater self-understanding, balance, confidence, and ease in their lives.

She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and self-harm, as well as challenges with self-esteem, boundaries, and relationships. Many of the individuals she works with feel overwhelmed by their thoughts or emotions, struggle with overthinking, or find it difficult to cope in sustainable ways.

In her work, she helps clients make sense of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical tools for everyday life. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation, coping, and self-understanding. She often describes coping as learning to carry an umbrella; you can’t always control the storm, but you can move through it with greater support and stability.

She holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology from Seneca College. Her background includes mental health research and experience in educational and supportive roles as an educator, youth program coordinator, and grief facilitator, shaping a thoughtful and developmentally informed approach to her work.

She is committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental, and genuine space. Her approach is collaborative and client-centred, recognizing each individual as the expert of their own experience. She believes that meaningful growth comes not from perfection, but from deeper self-understanding and having the support to move forward in a way that feels aligned and authentic.

Areas of Focus: Anxiety and overthinking; depression and low mood; ADHD-related challenges; self-harm; self-esteem and boundaries; emotional regulation and overwhelm.
